Weekly July 6 - 30th! Each week is the same camp (so no worries if you can't make it the first week :) with similar activities, and awesome projects!

  • Monday - Bee Movie - Making a Bee Hive bird feeder! This feeder will include little critters made with clay too!
  • Tuesday - Finding Nemo! Each child will use clay to mold their own set of fish which will be made in to an awesome and colorful wind chime!
  •  Wednesday - Ice Age! - Today we're going to use the c-c-c-cold in this movie to inspire our designs on our very own ice cream bowl! (This can also be a 1 day camp)
  • Thursday - Narnia - We're taking the magic from this enchanted movie and inspiring our own Glass Candle Holder creation to pick up the light around it.
  • Friday - Kung Fu Panda - I just love this movie ... and it will be the perfect backdrop for us to get our painting mojo going. Today we're finishing the painting on both our bird feeders and our wind chimes....with a special project planned if we have time. This day also, featuring an ice cream social AND lunch on us!

August Camp Artists Alive!

Each week will feature the work of a collection of artists to inspire us to paint and create! Artists and activities will include Georgia O'Keefe painting on ceramics, Salvador Dali - clay sculpture, Jackson Pollock acrylic on functional pieces and more! Overview:

Classes are from 10am -1pm each day. Each camper should bring a bagged lunch daily, except for Friday.

Wear clothes they can get dirty in....this is art camp after all!

Cost: Weekly: $140.00  (10% off second week for same child or sibling)

Daily (Wednesdays only) - $35.00

Weekly August 3 - 28th! Each week is the same camp (so no worries if you can't make it the first week) with similar activities, and awesome projects!

  • Monday's featured artist - Georgia O'Keefe - Glass Flower set, complete with hand made, clay flower pot! These flowers are gorgeous and will last a lifetime!
  • Tuesday's featured artist - Salvador Dali - Dali showed us our world through his eyes with some of the most interesting abstract art ever created. Each child will be inspired by his work to create a scene from their life, with Dali goggles on...3D works will be molded out of clay, mounted on a wooden board and painted with acrylic paints. Similar to our book end project, but larger.
  • Wednesday's featured artist - Renee Magrite - Another inspirational abstract artist, Magrite like to thorough the ordinary in to his art and make it come alive. Using household items as the center piece, we are going to draw a Magrite-like picture and recreate it in a glass fusion wall hanging!  (This can also be a 1 day camp)
  • Thursday's featured artist - Jackson Pollock - Back by popular demand, Jackson's work with splatter design helped to forge a new method of thinking regarding what the definition of art truly is. Today we're going to go outside and THROW SOME PAINT! Each child will have a choice of project, either a shirt, a canvas bag, or canvas as the recipient of their creativity! (This can also be a 1 day camp) *Please note, we will be using PERMANENT colors for this project, so please dress accordingly.
  • Friday's featured artist - Leonardo DaVinci - A Truly inspirational artist, DaVinci had many pieces to choose from for this project, we chose one of his tragically unfinished works, The Bronze Horse. Beginning with a prefabricated clay horse sculpture, we will use Bronze paint and some other materials to recreate this truly magnificent work of art. This day also, featuring an ice cream social AND lunch on us!

As with the July Camps, if there is time, there will be an added project to the week that your children will truly love!
