Scout Troops Ages 9 and Up - $15.00 per child (+ tax)
This program was designed for scouts to earn their clay badges and includes shaping
raw clay into functional objects. It is a two week project.
Week 1:

A more in-depth discussion of clay and its properties

How to work with clay
-
Creation of a choice of items: basic pinch pot, wind chimes, jewelry, etc.

Once their project is
designed to their satisfaction, leave it with us until their next visit.

Please note: This activity is geared
towards older children because the clay can be difficult to work with and
tends to frustrate children under 9. No wheels or special talent
is required for this activity and exceptions to the age bracket can be made.
